LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on 30th December 1984, is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). Nicknamed King James he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players ever and is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James has been awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs as well as the two Olympic medals. James holds the record for the most number of points scored in the post-season. He is second in all-time score, and the 7th most career assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected for be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. As a total, James has been a part of more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. It was eight in a row between 2011 and 2018. James has been chosen for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has accumulated 10,000 or more points as well as rebounds and assists throughout his career. He will be the first to do so in 2022. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a potential NBA star. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly established himself as one of the top league players and was awarded the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and 2010. James, who failed to win the championship in Cleveland in 2010, left as a free agent and joined the Miami Heat. This was revealed in The Decision.
