Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites you explore her inner world through the cuisine she creates. Food she cooks up is the result of her fascination with the cultural aspects in Los Angeles, which was sparked by a trip in Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatelli, carnitas and other dishes can all coexist on one menu. It is an ever shifting taste. But what remains is her distinctive vision of the future while longingly recalling the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became very well received. Lofaso's take on old-school Italian has been called the one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian eateries. Lofaso has been described by many as a local restaurant that consistently serves food that's authentic, delicious and welcoming. Lofaso worked as an apprentice to culinary masters taking their tips as well as taking risks. She did not hesitate to do so to follow her own intuition. She soon rose to the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago before moving on to work closely with celebs in several Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. The Lofaso had found a home in the Black Market. Lofaso was able to finally experience the freedom of expression she had wanted. Black Market's intention is to not be constrained in any way. A course might begin with potato chips dill and shishito peppers followed by a lobster roll Korean wings and a succession of meatballs. What anchors this bold array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso assesses the success she has had all through her career on the basis of the innate ability she has to know her audience and remain loyal to her character. Her memorable appearances on Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her talents outside of the cooking area. Her talents are apparent in her regular roles as a the CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge and on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child & the ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso teamed with Penguin to release The Busy mom's Cookbook - 100 Recipes For Quick Delicious Home Cooked Meals in the year 2012. This cookbook also tells about her struggles while raising Xea and studying at the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that the main inspiration behind all of Lofaso's accomplishments is her kitchen. It's through this vein she keeps a steady finger on the pulse. Chefletics transforms the appearance of chef wear with its focus on fashion and practicality. Lofaso is committed to being true to yourself and your ideals. To achieve this, she's created Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new company will offer a personalized experience for clients.
