Anamaria is an Romanian actor. She received the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. Her father, who is a teacher of theatre in one of the top Romanian theatre schools, is an instructor in theatre. The award was presented to her as an award for the Best Female Actor Award in 2000 for the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. In 2008, she was honoured as the 'European Shooting Star' European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. The film won the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other awards (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI award). Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film that she was in. In 2008, Marinca portrayed Yasim in BBC's five episode The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in The Romanian drama Boogie along with Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. The actress later played a significant performance in the 2014 film Fury where she portrayed a German woman who was named Irma the aunt of Emma.
