Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is well-known for roles in movies like Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. She was born at Gravesend located in Greater London. She began her career after taking classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when she made her film debut by playing a part in the film comedy "St. Trinian's'. The James Bond film Quantum of Solace, which was released within a short time, she was a supporting role. The film had a great commercial run and received mostly average reviews. She was then the main female role in the fantasy action film "Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time". Recently, she played an supporting part on the French film 'Orphan'. Arterton has been nominated numerous awards throughout her professional career, one of which was she received the 'Empire Award' for Best Newcomer with 'Quantum' Solace', and also the "Evening Standard Theatre Award' for her performance in the musical 'Made in Dagenham'.
